• The International Conference on Health Informatics (ICHI) is the main scientific event in medical, biomedical, and health informatics in the region. The conference aims to address the various aspects of health informatics. The conference will address issues such as telemedicine, artificial intelligence, bioinformatics, confidentiality and data security, healthcare information systems, data integration and retrieval, data visualization and 3D reconstruction, decision support systems, dependability of information, devices and sensors, distributed healthcare systems, expert systems in healthcare, hospital management systems, human computer interaction, image and signal processing, knowledge acquisition tools, knowledge based systems, nursing informatics, online medical applications, and robotics and virtual reality. In addition, the conference will explore how socio economic aspects of information technology applications in a medical and healthcare context as well as related standards, social and legal issues.
