The 20th century represents the most diverse period in the history of jewelry design, from the elegance and splendor of the Edwardian era to the exotic motifs and geometry of the Art Deco period to the bold gold creations of the 1940's. World-renowned firms such as Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Bulgari, Tiffany & Co., David Webb and JAR produced jeweled creations that were defined by exquisite workmanship and imagination. Mr. Davis will explore these expressive decades, when jewels became not only objects of personal adornment but a true art form.
Gus Davis is a partner and co-founder of New York based antique and estate jewelry firm Camilla Dietz Bergeron, Ltd.
